According to the state school, their cheerleaders won first place overall in the North Central Association of Schools for the Blind's Wrestling and Cheer Championship in Illinois.

No Drill Curtain Holdbacks In addition to the overall first place win for the cheerleaders, the school said the team also won for most spirited mascot, spirit award, and outstanding cheerleader.
